Fox will stay on YouTube TV – for now.
Google , YouTube's parent company, and Fox extended their deadline for drafting a new contract to keep Fox content on the streaming service, a company account said in a social media post.
"We’ve reached a short-term extension with Fox to avoid service disruption for YouTube TV subscribers while we work on a new agreement," Team YouTube said in an X post just after 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Aug. 27. "We're committed to advocating on behalf of our members as we work toward a fair deal and will keep you posted on our progress."
