GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Twenty youth football programs including two in the Madison area were awarded grants by the Green Bay Packers as part of the Packers Youth Football Matching Grant.

The $1,000 grants will support equipment purchases, new uniforms, and football facility improvements.

All youth football programs in Wisconsin both flag and tackle were eligible to apply. To secure the matching grant, each program was required to raise $1,000 of its own funds.

The programs selected included:

Baraboo Youth Football, Baraboo

Beaver Dam Youth Football, Beaver Dam

Chippewa Valley Youth Football, Chippewa Falls

DeForest Area Youth Football, Windsor

Elkhorn Youth Football, Elkhorn

FRC Youth Football, Green Bay

Lakeland Youth Football, Tomahawk

Mad Town Elite Youth Football, Madison
