MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There once was a time when doctors made house calls. Those days, for the most part, are long gone. But there's a hometown health care group that is sending nurses to see patients, and we were there for one of those visits Wednesday.
It's been a tough time for Jaime Blas of Glendale. His home was damaged by the flood, and he needs medical care.
On Wednesday, Jenny Ovide, a community medical coordinator from Ascension All Saints Family Health Center, came to check up on him.
It's something that Ascension does that's not only good for the patients, but for medical training in community-focused care.
"It's such a nice touch to say, hi, I'm here to help you and I brought you something sweet, or I baked this, or we brought you something from the farm," Ovide sai
