CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A Cincinnati police officer is on desk duties after being charged with domestic violence, court records state.
Thomas Joseph Back, 43, was accused by his girlfriend of pulling her hair, jerking her back into the car when she attempted to leave, following her and leaving a cut on her mouth after an altercation over a phone, according to a complaint filed with the Butler County Area Court.
Cincinnati Police Department confirmed that Back has been assigned to administrative duties and had powers suspended.
Back’s bond was set for $7,500 and will be monitored to avoid contact with the victim.
