TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Federal agents and a SWAT team raided a home in one of Tampa's wealthiest and most exclusive neighborhoods early Wednesday morning.

Neighbors said the raid began around 4:30 a.m. when FBI agents and others raided a home in the Avila neighborhood. The U.S. Department of Justice said it was part of a multi-state operation against human trafficking and forced labor.

The DOJ says David Taylor, 53, and Michelle Brannon, 56, were arrested Wednesday in North Carolina and Florida in a nationwide takedown of their forced labor organization.

The DOJ said Taylor and Brannon claim to be the leaders of Kingdom of God Global Church, formerly known as Joshua Media Ministries International."
