BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing is worth an estimated $850 million.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are the same in every state: one in 292 million. Nobody in North Dakota has ever won the grand prize, but there have been multiple million-dollar winners.
“Larger prizes, we’ve had three bigger ones this year. A $50,000 Powerball winner, a $100,000 Powerplay winner and a $150,000 Powerball with Powerplay winner all this year,” said Ryan Koppy, marketing director for the ND Lottery.
Lottery prizes of over $600 must be claimed directly from the North Dakota Lottery office in person or by mail. If you win, you can choose to remain anonymous.
