OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - It’s been more than two weeks since high winds blasted through the metro area . One of the hardest hit areas was Blair.
Justin Inget has a problem: he lost a large tree in the Aug. 9 storm.
“We had a 100-foot-tall Hackberry tree. Provides a lot of shade...nice for our house, the neighbor’s house for years and years,” he said.
Moving out these massive logs would have been tough for Justin to handle, but fortunately, he got some help from Blair city workers.
“Thank God the city comes out and they help out,” he said. “I mean, Blair’s an amazing community. They’ve got these guys putting in the hard work to take care of it. They said just put it in the yard and we’ll come by, and we’ll take care of it, and you don’t have to worry about it. Otherwise, getting rid o
