Three times in the past three months, firefighters at station 805 in Capitol Heights have found devices that look like molotov cocktails when they report to work.
In the most recent incident, on the morning of Aug. 13, surveillance footage released Wednesday shows a man dressed in a Tom and Jerry jacket dropping off what authorities call “improvised incendiary devices,” or IIDs, meant to cause fires, near the fire station in Prince George’s County. In the footage, the man pauses to drop what appears to be a glass bottle in the driveway and then puts another one in the mailbox before walking away.
