Police in Surrey arrested a man outside the BC Lions training facility on Wednesday afternoon for allegedly running around with a box cutter.

Surrey Police responded to a call around 1:37 p.m. about a man "running around the area" outside of the facility on University Drive with a box cutter knife, Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton said.

The man was arrested, and the knife was seized. The individual has since been released, and the investigation is ongoing.

In a video provided to Black Press Media by a witness, about five Surrey Police cars with eight officers could be seen responding to the call and arresting the suspect.
