AUBURN — The former executive director of the DeKalb County Chamber of Commerce Tuesday pleaded guilty to the theft of funds from the organization during a DeKalb Superior Court I hearing.
Jessica Griffith of the 1200 block of Rohm Drive, Auburn, pleaded guilty to one count of theft, a Level 6 felony, as part of a plea agreement.
Under the terms of the agreement, any executed sentence is capped at 120 days, with there being no objections to Griffith serving the sentence on community corrections if she is found to be eligible.
Griffith also must complete a mental health evaluation. Other terms are up to the court.
Griffith admitted exerting unauthorized control of funds totaling $3,916.54 between July 11 and Aug. 19, 2024.
