WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A not-so-subtle $3 million might seem like a drop in the bucket for a school district with a billion-dollar budget, but it's a hefty added cost for Wichita Public Schools.

"We're just digging a deeper hole," said Martin Schoket, a Wichita Public Schools teacher and executive member of the teachers' union. "Well, we're not. Other people are digging it for us."
