NEW ORLEANS — The Lower Ninth Ward was one of the hardest hit during Hurricane Katrina, when a barge broke the already failing wall of the Industrial Canal.
You may recall that even King Charles came to see the damage from the barge for himself, saying it was much worse to see it in person.
Now, two people who lived through those flood waters take a look back.
“I never thought I'd be here to tell the story. And if my son wouldn't have stayed here, it's no way I would be here,” said Arcola Sutton, 70, who lives in the Lower Ninth Ward.
