LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Jeffersonville Police are investigating after a man checked himself into the emergency room with a gunshot wound.

At around 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27, JPD responded to a call at Norton Clark Hospital of a man arriving at the emergency room after being shot.

Detectives are actively investigating and say that all parties involved are accounted for. JPD says there are no outstanding persons of interest, and the community is not at risk of any future threats linked to the case.
