Days after an armed robbery at a gas station led two police cars to crash into each other while searching for the robbery suspect in Randolph, a 32-year-old man faces charges, Randolph police said Wednesday.
Alain McDonald, of Randolph, faces two counts of armed and masked robbery. He is expected to face more charges from Quincy police in connection with another bank robbery, Randolph Police Chief Anthony Marag said in a statement.
At around 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, Randolph police learned of an armed robbery at the Al Prime gas station on 304 Union St., Marag said. The suspect carried a semiautomatic handgun and wore a black mask. After the robbery, he ran off on foot.
