MIAMI – Hunter Stratton was efficient on Wednesday for the Atlanta Braves.

The Sullivan East High School graduate needed just 17 pitches to get the final seven outs and polish off Atlanta’s 12-1 manhandling of the Miami Marlins.
Stratton allowed one hit and notched a strikeout in his 2 1/3 scoreless innings of work.
He got three groundouts, three flyball outs and registered a strikeout of Jakob Marsee. That K of Marsee marked his 50th career regular-season MLB strikeout.
Stratton has a 0.00 ERA in four outings for Atlanta covering 8 1/3 innings since being acquired in a trade with the Pittsburgh Pirates on July 1. He has bounced between the minor leagues and majors with the Braves and has pitched well at both levels.
