PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Oregon State freshman Aden Attao is taking home his second gold after winning the 130-kilogram Greco-Roman title at the 2025 Junior Pan American Games.

Attao made a dominant 5-0 run to the championship title match, securing the victory with a pin. He’s currently ranked No. 3 in the 130kg category on Team USA during the 2024-25 season.

He is now both a two-time U20 World bronze medalist (2022, 2024) and a two-time U20 Pan American Championships gold medalist. The Boise, Idaho native also came in fourth at the 2024 Olympic Trials ahead of the Paris games and was the Olympic alternate in Greco.

As a high schooler, Attao was a 2022 U20 Greco World Bronze Medalist (130kg), 2022 USA Wrestling Junior National Triple Crown Winner, and 2022 USA Wrestling Junior Folkstyle
