TELFAIR COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into the actions of the Chief Magistrate Judge of Telfair County , according to a report from the GBI.
The GBI says they are looking into alleged "improper conduct" by Bryan Selph, the Chief Magistrate Judge of Telfair County. They also said they are investigating the actions of "other public officials within the City of McRae Helena and Telfair County."
They haven't listed specific complaints regarding Selph's conduct, and they have not listed any other officials who are currently being investigated.
The GBI says after the investigation, which began in June, they will send their findings to Oconee District Attorney Tim Vaughn for review, and potential prosecution.
