Former Brazoswood High School teacher Brandyn Hargrove pleaded guilty Tuesday to 12 felony counts related to the sexual abuse of a student more than a decade ago.

Brazoria County District Attorney Tom Selleck confirmed to KPRC 2’s Corley Peel that Hargrove pleaded guilty to 12 total counts, including six counts of sexual assault of a child, four counts of indecency with a child by contact, and two counts of indecency with a child by exposure.

Under the plea agreement, Hargrove received 10 years of probation with deferred adjudication for the sexual assault and indecency by contact charges. She also received 10 years of probation without deferred adjudication for the indecent expo
