COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is ordering that all United States and Ohio flags be flown at half-staff.
The lowering of the flags, according to a news release, is in accordance with the President of the United States to honor and remember the victims of the shooting in Minneapolis.
The Associated Press reports that on Wednesday, a shooter opened fire through the windows of a Catholic church in Minneapolis, striking and killing two and wounding 17 others.
From Wednesday to sunset on Sunday, August 31, all flags of the United States and the state of Ohio shall be flown at half-staff on all public buildings and grounds statewide.
