NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB) - Camryn Davis is one of many players on this year’s Northwestern State Football roster who’s from the Bayou state.
“It feels good,” Davis said. “It feels like when you’re at home—like you’re confident, you got people behind you, backing you up.”
Davis played high school ball at Turpin Stadium as a member of the Natchitoches Central Chiefs. During his senior season , Davis was one of the leaders in the state in yards and touchdowns.
In his first season at NSU, Davis saw limited action in just four games and completed zero passes.
Now a redshirt freshman, Davis is expected to be a player the Demons can rely on.
“The takeaway is not to be selfish, do what I can do to help the team do what I can do to better myself for the team and just fill any role,” Davis s
