But the pace of change in Britain’s broken energy market is too slow. ‌

Now, the energy price cap is set to rise by two per cent in October, hitting people with even higher bills.

It is a kick in the teeth for Scots who have struggled in recent years to pay for their gas and electricity.

Although they have been out of office for a year, it is the Tories who caused our energy market to be broken. ‌

They left us far too reliant on gas imports for both home heating and power plants.
