HERMITAGE Officials were at Buhl Park in Hermitage on Wednesday to announce the launch of a new bike rental program.

The bike rental program is made possible through the support of the Strimbu Foundation, Buhl Regional Health Foundation, Primary Health Network and Representative Parke Wentling.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the park's bike shelter, installed next to the Pool House.

Buhl Park can be found at 715 Hazen Road in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.

The bikes can be unlocked and rented by a QR code, allowing bikers to pay through their phone.

Each bike can be rented for $5 for the first 15 minutes, and then an additional $5 for every additional hour of renting the bike.
