GLASGOW, Ky. – As we approach Football Frenzy for this week, a big rivalry game is among the highlights as Barren County and Glasgow take the field against each other. But before that, the community comes together for a pep rally.

“It’s just a fun night on the square, it’s good for even the younger ones too that come… and my kids love it. I hope every kid who attends tonight loves it, and I feel like the adults love it just as much,” judge executive Jamie Bewley Byrd says.

“This is a huge rivalry, but to be able to see everybody come together really shows what it’s about… the community, the kids, the fun, the atmosphere and the tradition is what it’s all about,” Glasgow High School principal Joey Norman says.
