( 25News Now ) - In Soccer, Washington’s Hudson Scrivner scored not one, not two, not three, not four, but five goals in their 8-0 victory over Geneseo. Limestone overtook IVC, while Richwoods picked up a win over Peoria High.

On a beautiful day at Kellogg Golf Course, both Peoria Notre Dame’s Jack Coulter and Washington’s Gavin Schreurs finished with a 68, but it would be Schreurs who was named the medalist on a scorecard playoff. Normal U-High’s Brody Allen, Dunlap’s Nolan Eccles, and Richwood’s Shane Cunningham were among those tied for 3rd place individually.

The Panthers were also the team champs, with Metamora and Dunlap finishing tied for 3rd place.

East Peoria and Dunlap also earned volleyball victories in their first week of the season.
