An inmate who died at a hospital last spring after collapsing at Las Colinas women’s jail in Santee succumbed to a drug overdose, authorities said Wednesday.
Deputies making routine rounds at the Riverview Parkway detention center found Callen Lines, 31, unresponsive in her cell at about 7:30 p.m. May 12, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office . Paramedics took Lines to a hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead shortly after arrival.
