MINNEAPOLIS — After a fatal shooting at a Minneapolis Catholic school church , two other families that know the impact of gun violence too well are responding.
At about 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Annunciation Catholic School students were in a back-to-school Mass. According to Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara, the shooter shot through a window towards the students as they sat in pews. The shooter died by suicide. Two children, ages 8 and 10, died at the scene, according to O'Hara. There were 19 victims in total, most of whom were children.
