LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Talking season is over. Kentucky and Louisville return to the gridiron this weekend for the official first week of the college football season. On After Further Review, Sports Director Kent Spencer and Sarandon Raboin broke down the expectations for both the Cards and the Cats when they take the field Saturday.
Louisville hosts Eastern Kentucky University at 3 p.m. The Cardinals enter as heavy favorites in what is expected to be a tune-up game. Spencer said the team has little to gain from the matchup.
“The only takeaway you’re going to get from this game is red flags.” Spencer goes on to say this is because “your defense is supposed to dominate that offense. Your offense is supposed to win big.”
