MT. VERNON, Iowa (KCRG) - Cornell College is coming into the season with longtime Williamsburg head coach, Curt Ritchie in charge for his first season.

Ritchie is the offensive coordinator. His main focus is on that side of the ball. He wants his offense to play with a certain style.

“We want to play with pace. We’re a no-huddle team. We want to be able to do multiple things. There’s a lot of things that I said if I had all platoon players, I’d do all of these things. I’m getting a chance to do that,” said Ritchie.

That has his players excited, like receiver, Cole Reed.

“Hopefully a conference championship. That’s our goal. He’s also come in and helped our offense so much. I feel like our offense is going to light it up this year,” said Reed.
