EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Grammy award-winning cellist Zuill Bailey and the Balourdet Quartet visited the Boys & Girls Club of El Paso on Wednesday, Aug. 27, to have children experience live music and explore different instruments.

According to the news release by the BGCEP, the artists introduced the children to new sounds, taught them how musical compositions come together, and inspired creativity and expression.

“El Paso Pro-Musica works to make music accessible to all, and this collaboration allows us to share music that can soothe, heal, educate, and spark imagination,” Bailey said.

In addition, Bailey's visit to the BGCEP is a part of his 25th anniversary season as artistic director of El Paso Pro-Musica.
