Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has been accused of behaving like a "child" after he seemed to blame a minor coming together with referee Chris Kavanagh for his missed penalty at Fulham on Sunday.

The damning assessment, which came before United's League Cup exit to Grimsby Town , was delivered via ex-England star Theo Walcott, who also questioned Fernandes' credentials to carry on leading United as captain.
