Transport Scotland says it will continue to monitor a stretch on the A84 at Blairdrummond and decide if further safety measures are needed after a fifth crash there in under a month. ‌

Two people received treatment at the scene after a road accident near Blair Drummond Safari Park over the weekend. ‌

The most recent collision involved two vehicles and occurred just before 11am on Saturday, August 23, on a section of the A84 between Ochiltyre and Blairdrummond – believed to be about 500 yards from the main entrance to the popular tourist spot. ‌

This marked the fifth accident between that location and the stretch past Kincardine in Menteith Primary School since July 29.
