A 19-year-old man is in police custody after being caught with a knife and a 'stolen' e-bike near a park, the Manchester Evening News understands.
Officers in plain clothes attended Plant Hill Park in Blackley , north Manchester, at around 7pm on Wednesday night (August 28).
Greater Manchester Police stopped a teenager who was riding a Surron e-bike. It's understood he initially came to a halt before trying to make off from the scene.
The man was soon stopped by officers for a second time and arrested.

It's believed the suspect was found carrying a knife, while officers discovered the e-bike had been reported as stolen.
The teenager was arrested and remains in police custody
