Rotary District 6420 has donated nearly $4,000 to the Northern Illinois Food Bank , providing more than 15,000 meals for Winnebago County residents.

The donation was presented during a ceremony attended by Rotary leaders and Jessica Stanley-Asselmeier, director of corporate and foundation giving for the food bank, according to a community announcement.

“Rotary District 6420 is committed to serving our community and ensuring that no one goes hungry,” District Governor Melissa McCormick said in the announcement. “Through this partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank, we are able to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our neighbors, particularly those struggling during these challenging times.”
