Officials say the truck was stolen out of Hamilton County.
A Pierce Township officer responded to the area and spotted the vehicle and attempted to pull the driver over. That's when police say the driver sped away, driving erratically. The officer didn't chase the car as department policy only allows for chases that involve violent felonies.
The truck was found shortly after.
Fire and EMS officials in Pierce Township say the truck slammed into the guardrail on a curvy section of a one-lane road, before the vehicle came to a stop in the woods.
