The Dogwood Health Trust and the independent monitor have released the annual report about whether or not HCA Healthcare has complied with its obligations when the for-profit corporation purchased Mission Health System, which includes Mission Hospital McDowell.

This report points out three areas of potential noncompliance and acknowledges the resolution of two issues concerning this mammoth purchase, which affects the health of millions of people in western North Carolina.
