Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles are adding an intriguing skill player to their practice squad.
The Eagles are signing former Notre Dame star running back Audric Estime to their practice squad, according to multiple Wednesday reports.
Estime, 21, was cut by the Denver Broncos on Tuesday. The 2024 fifth-round pick was the odd man out in a backfield with J.K. Dobbins, rookie RJ Harvey, Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie.
But the Broncos’ loss is the Eagles’ gain. Estime, a St. Joseph’s Regional (N.J.) product, played in 13 games last year for Denver, rushing for 310 yards and two touchdowns on 76 carries.
Estime was a standout at Notre Dame, totaling 2,261 yards and 29 touchdowns in 2022 and 2023. His final year was his biggest, rushing for 1,341 yards and 18 touchdowns.
