PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10)-- A firefighter sustained a minor injury while fighting a challenging fire in Pittsfield Wednesday night. According to the Pittsfield Fire Department, the fire happened around 5:51 p.m. on Barker Road.
Officials said crews responded to 732.5 Barker Road for reports of a structure fire. When on scene, firefighters reported seeing a fire from the second story of the home.
According to the fire department, crews called for mutual aid shortly after arriving.
