The 2025 Duke football season is here.

The Blue Devils open their 2025 campaign the same way they started last year: by hosting the Elon Phoenix. Duke won 26-3 over Elon last year in what was Manny Diaz's debut, now looking to get its third-straight season opening victory.

The Blue Devils return 14 starters from last year's 9-4 squad that made it to the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, bringing in 28 freshmen from its 2025 signing class and nine transfer portal additions.

Duke does not enter the season ranked in the US LBM coaches poll or AP poll, but it did receive votes in each. In the ACC, the Blue Devils are picked to finish sixth in the league.
