Dear Sahaj: My daughter graduated high school in 2021 and went to college that fall (700 miles away) on what was nearly a full academic scholarship. She had always been an excellent student and talked of wanting to become a doctor since she was in elementary school. In her sophomore year, she began struggling with classes and lost her scholarship second semester and never did well enough to get it back. It was during this time she was coming out as gay and began her first relationship.
