CASS COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) - A man with a long history of being a convicted felon is facing up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to stealing a walnut tree in Cass County.
Trevor Wallace was set to go on trial Tuesday morning on a felony charge of concealing stolen property over $1,000. This would be his habitual third offense.
However, moments before jury selection was set to start, the defendant ended up pleading guilty.
