KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Zoo Knoxville is celebrating the birth of two male red panda cubs.
The zoo said the cubs were born June 3 to first time parents Sisu and Doofah. The cubs are nearly three months old and are on the verge of making their public debut.
The zoo said guest may get a look at the cubs "any day now" as they explore their outdoor habitat. Red panda mothers determine when their young are ready to venture out, according to the zoo, and Sisu has raised them in their den since birth.
