KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knoxville Catholic High School representatives addressed students' families about security plans, one day after the school shooting at a Catholic school in Minnesota that killed two children and hurt 18 people while they were attending mass.

Dickie Sompayrac, the president of Knoxville Catholic High School, sent out a release addressing safety measures for both the school and while children are attending mass. In it, he said schools across the country are reassessing security plans in the wake of the shooting.
