• Developers have already sold 30% of the condos in the glistening glass SoLa redevelopment that's poised to bring cutting-edge architecture to the Lake Michigan lakefront.

• One of the luxury condominiums with sweeping views of the shoreline and the Chicago skyline sold for a record $2.5 million, the highest amount for a condo in Michigan City history.

• Farpoint Development expects to have at least half of the 170 condos sold by the time it breaks ground on the 12-story, 700,000-square-foot mixed-use development, said Alan Schachtman, the CEO of ASA Real Estate Development. SoLa aims to be completely sold before construction is complete in 2028.
