A Reading police officer have been charged after, officials claim, they punched a handcuffed teen several times in a transport van in an incident that, allegedly, happened last month.

According to police, the incident began after an incident that happened on June 25, 2025, at about 8:54 p.m., when this officer of the Reading Police Department was dispatched to a home along the 500 block of McClellan Street in Reading for a domestic disturbance.
