A British grandmother's dream holiday to Spain turned into a nightmare after she lost her passport on the plane and was subsequently detained for 22 hours before being forced to return to the UK. ‌

Pam Tweedale, 77, had been looking forward to a trip of a lifetime with 13 family members, but her excitement was short-lived. After landing in Madrid , she realised her passport was missing and reported it to Iberia Airlines' help desk, but it couldn't be found. ‌
