DE PERE, Wis. (WBAY) - More local students are headed back to school this week.

There was a lot of excitement for the first day of school at Foxview Intermediate School in east De Pere.

Everyone is adjusting to the hustle of school drop off! Some students said they’re looking forward to the new year…others not so much.

“I’m looking forward to seeing my friends […] I’m hoping to learn more math,” said Ellie Dennis, a 5th grade student.

When 5th grader Jackson Cappelle was asked what he was looking forward to, he said: “Lunch and going home.”

Other school districts, such as Green Bay and Appleton, will start school the day after Labor Day.
