Police in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, are investigating a serious crash and looking for witnesses to come forward with information.

The single-car crash happened near the intersection of Princeton Street and North Road around 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The driver, identified as a 53-year-old Chelsea man, was seriously hurt and ultimately airlifted to a Boston hospital for treatment.

The Chelmsford Police Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating and asking anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the vehicle, a green Subaru Outback, in the area around that time. They are also asking the public to review any surveillance video they have for footage of the vehicle.
