A man working as a substitute teacher with Montgomery Public Schools is facing child sex charges.
Jalen Jackson Bray, 21, of Montgomery, faces three counts of child sexual abuse, according to court records. The alleged abuse happened Monday, Aug. 25, on an unnamed elementary school campus, the records show. Bray allegedly was playing a game of hide and seek in the classroom and kissed a female student on the lips, face and cheek and then spanked her over his knee, records show.
"Montgomery Public Schools is aware of an incident and is currently working closely with local law enforcement," said Rosanna Brewton, a spokesperson for MPS. "MPS has followed all safety protocols, and the safety and well-being of our students is always a top priority. Following school district procedures, MPS do
