MONTGOMERY, Ala. ( WSFA ) - A sixth suspect has been arrested in connection to a shooting on Atlanta Highway that paralyzed a woman in 2024 , the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday.

Chelsea Jackson, of Prattville, has been charged with one count of first-degree assault and two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle.

The shooting happened on April 12 near the Eastdale Circle access.

Amy Dicks was sitting in her car when she was caught in the crossfire of multiple gunshot being fired. She was paralyzed from the chest down.

Five people were arrested in connection to the shooting in May, 2024.
