MADISON, Wis. -- An armed robbery took place at the Pick 'n Save on Madison's east side Wednesday afternoon.

Police were dispatched to the store on the 2500 block of Shopko Drive before 3 p.m. and spoke to the cashier, who alleged a male suspect demanded money from the register. He also implied he had a firearm.

Officers checked the area and are actively trying to find the suspect.
